اقوام متحدہ کے ادارہ برائے چلڈرن فنڈ(یونیسف) نےایک رپورٹ میں کہا ہے کہ پاکستان میں مارچ سے شروع ہونے والے لاک ڈاؤن کی وجہ سے آئندہ نو ماہ بعد 50 لاکھ بچوں لاکھ بچوں کی پیدائش متوقع ہے۔جبکہ ہندوستان میں 2 کروڑ بچوں کی پیدائش متوقع ہے۔یونیسف نے خبردار کیا ہے کہ زچہ بچہ کے لئے کرونا وائرس سے بچنے کے لئے انتہائی احتیاط کی ضرورت ہے جو پاکستان اور ہندوستان جیسے ملک میں اختیار نہیں کی جاتی۔
